Knights Castle Cake

My son changed his mind for his 5th bday cake after seeing his sister's castle cake. I would have added more details to the cake, but he liked it this way!

Castle Cakes

This week was the week of castle cakes. One for a friend's bridal shower & one for my daughter's 8th birthday.

Made a chocolate layered cake for a contest at the state fair. Top 7 got ribbons, I took home 6th place. I love Oregon, so I had a great time making this one with Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach, a covered wagon, Mt Hood, and the Salem Carousel.

I am so glad I live near many relatives. I get the opportunity & privilege of making cakes for all of them. I did these two on July 26 & 27th respectively. Bob & Larry were for a 2 year old second cousin and the other for my niece's 13th bday.

Amphibian Tractor & Marine Logo

Here is the latest. My Grandpa celebrated his 84th birthday. He was a Marine in WWII. This was a simple version of the Amphibian Tractor he was the gunner on at Saipan.

We enjoy helping feed the homeless once a month. We decided to celebrate everyone's birthday from January to June. This is just a simple colorful cake to feed 125.
